Youth Support Coordinator

£17,500.00 per annum, 12 months fixed-term contract (possibility of extending contract determined by funding)
We currently have a vacancy for the post of a Youth Support Coordinator to be based in the Voluntary Services Centre at ESO.
ESO specialises in working with young people with various disabilities and their families. We have comprehensive experience in providing specialist and welfare-based support, interventions and guidance to young people.
The majority of the young people in our care have complex emotional behavioural needs, which can at times lead to behaviours of concern. We accommodate and care for young people, providing holistic and bespoke support packages to meet individual needs, ensuring effective and positive outcomes.
As a Youth Support Coordinator, you will be expected to programme weekly service delivery schedules, organise and oversee daily support care activities and, provide guidance, support and encouragement to the young people to ensure they achieve their full potential. You will be responsible for the welfare of the young people during day and evening sessions ensuring their safeguarding and wellbeing.
As an organisation, we are committed to providing support for staff with a comprehensive induction into this field of work. In addition, you will be given:
- Monthly supervision
- On-going continuous professional development
Previous experience within this field would be advantageous, however this is not essential. We welcome applicants who feel that they have the right characteristics, aptitude, and life skills to work with our young people.
