Together is an amazing place to work. And it’s not just because we’re one of the UK’s oldest and most respected mental health charities. It’s because we put the people who use our services at the heart of everything we do – supporting and enabling them to take control of their lives and make a positive contribution to the community.
We are looking to recruit a full time Support Worker who will be part of a small team, working in a fast paced environment where no two days are the same.
Your Way Workers provide One to One support, working alongside adults that are experiencing severe and enduring mental health problems, supporting people towards better wellbeing within the community.
The role of a Your Way Worker includes managing and coordinating your own workload to offer Recovery and Goal focussed support to help people achieve positive outcomes in areas like; improving Mental Wellbeing & coping strategies, working towards Education, Volunteering and Work, reducing isolation, support with benefits, finances or housing or maintaining physical health & wellbeing.
You will plan meetings to help people identify their goals & support needs, completing assessments and risk management meetings. You will regularly liaise with other professionals and services and be confident in using IT systems.
The service operates across Tamworth, Lichfield & East Staffordshire so a car driver would be highly advantageous.
