Brereton Million

The parish of Brereton was allocated £1,000,000 by Big Local Trust under the project Brereton Million to be spent over a period of 10 years from 2015. Within a short space of time a Partnership Group was formed to lead and direct how that money is spent in their community. A Support Worker, Sue Merriman, was appointed to help deliver those plans and some amazing events happened in 2015 including an outdoor cinema event and the hugely popular Winter Wonderland. For more details please contact sue.biglocal@gmail.com

Safer Neighbourhood Panel

We facilitate our local Safer Neighbourhood Panel in Cannock. Supported by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner Staffordshire, this panel was formed to scrutinise policing at a local level and help make Staffordshire the most open and transparent police force in the country. The panel consists of people from a wide variety of backgrounds and no particular experience or qualifications are necessary to take part. If you would like further information please contact jan.matthews@supportstaffordshire.org.uk
