Give a little, gain a lot

Everyday people across Staffordshire are discovering how rewarding volunteering can be. For some, volunteering offers the chance to meet new people and make new friends, increase their confidence and develop new skills. For others, volunteering means doing something useful and helping their community. The one thing they all say is volunteering makes them feel great!

Why be a Volunteer?

Volunteering has a lot to offer people from all sorts of backgrounds.  People volunteer for different reasons, for example:

  • To do something that is fun and that they really enjoy
  • To support a cause they feel passionate about
  • To make use of thier skills, experience or interests
  • To meet new people and make new friends
  • To gain experience to help find paid work or to enhance a CV
  • To improve self confidence

Anyone can volunteer, regardless of your age, abilities or job status.   Wherever your skills lie, whatever your ambitions are, we can help you find that perfect opportunity and support you on your volunteering journey. Often the most difficult part of volunteering is making the first move. We can get you started.
