A core part of the New Start 4U support programme is encouraging participants to take up volunteering to help fill in gaps on CVs, learn new skills, boost confidence and more.
We\’ve had great news recently in that Harry from our Cannock group who had been regularly volunteering with the British Hearth Foundation, has now secured full time paid employment.
Volunteering alongside his job applications helped to regain a more structured week and, in our experience at New Start 4U, can really help people to stand out on job applications.
