Transforming the Trent Valley Community Engagement Officer

37 hours a week – £23,000 pro rata 

(post funded April 2019 - September 2023)

Based in Burton on Trent and with frequent travel around the landscape including to a partnership office located within or close to the Trent Valley landscape. 

This is an opportunity to be part of a landscape partnership scheme working to make the Trent Valley a healthier and better functioning landscape for people and wildlife. To find out more go to

If you are a great communicator and can motivate people to get involved, and you have experience of working with communities and voluntary groups, helping them to develop and deliver effective projects, then the Community Engagement post could be the job for you. 

If your experience in understanding funding sources for community projects and how small grant schemes work, and you have experience of advising voluntary and community groups, then the Community Engagement post may fit you.  

The post will need experience of working successfully with partners from different sectors and an understanding of environment and heritage issues.
