Team Musk from Swadlincote and Vodafone Burton Sign-up for YMCA Burton Sleepout 2019

Musk Process Services in Swadlincote have signed up for the Sleepout on 8th November for YMCA Burton. This will be the first time taking part for all the participants.

The team will be split with half spending the evening at Pirelli Stadium (Musk Sleeping Beauties) and the other half going extreme and joining others in the graveyard (Musk Die-hards). All members taking part in a bid to raise money for the Charity in Burton-on-Trent.

A little time to spare for cats? Volunteers Needed!

Cats Protection Burton on Trent Branch

However much time you can spare we have a volunteer role that could suit you!

Cats Protection are currently redeveloping our Burton on Trent Branch and are looking for volunteers in all areas; administration, fundraising, hands-on cat care, media and publicity, leading and managing other volunteers, education, customer service and more!

This training is funded by Staffordshire County Council. To access this session for FREE you must be a member of Support Staffordshire. Support Staffordshire reserves the right to charge you for your booking if you are not a member.

FREE places are restricted to TWO per organisation for this session so please check with your organisation before booking. Additional names can be added to a waiting list.

Volunteers needed to support older people in Rugeley

Michelle Cliff (Locality Officer for Cannock Chase) enjoyed a visit at St Pauls church hall in Rugeley to meet the volunteers and members of a lunch group run by MHA Lichfield & District Live at Home 

This weekly group can accommodate up to 25 people for lunch and social activities, the members look forward to the get together’s and enjoy seeing the friends they have made.

Volunteer Drivers Wanted in Lichfield!

Help older people in your community maintain their independence by transporting our Live at Home members to local venues for activities and appointments.

The volunteer drivers will be asked to go and collect the older person from their home and take them to their local services within their community.

  • You can commit as little as a few hours a week
  • A hugely rewarding way to help others
  • An excellent introduction to volunteering

Staffordshire Your Way Volunteer Opportunities

Together for Mental Wellbeing are looking for volunteers in Tamworth, Lichfield and East Staffordshire for their Your Way project.

If you would like to support individuals living with mental health issues there are a number of volunteer roles available: Community Connectors, Peer Supporters, Group Facilitators, Promotional and Events volunteers.
