Following the prime minister’s speech on Sunday evening, the government has published Our plan to rebuild: the UK government’s covid-19 recovery strategy. The document is intended to provide further details about the government’s proposed plan to ease the lockdown and rebuild the economy and society as we get through the worst of the pandemic.

Fans are encouraged to show domestic abuse the red card with the return of football this week

Cannock Chase Council is urging football fans to ‘show domestic abuse the red card’ during the football season which will be watched by many at home. 

Research shows that incidents of domestic abuse rise sharply during major football tournaments by up to 25 per cent.

With the first football game kicking off this week, people will be watching the games from their homes due to the pandemic. This again could increase tensions within households, resulting in incidences of domestic abuse.

Authorised Samsung repair and service partner TMT First Ltd has launched a new initiative to help people isolated in hospital and suffering from the Covid-19 virus connect with their family.

Lifelines4LoveOnes refurbishes old, unwanted and faulty tablets and smart phones and donates them to NHS Hospitals to give to patients who are desperate to connect with loved ones.
