Effective Bid Writing

Who is this for:

Those who are new to bid writing and want in depth knowledge and skills. Those who have some bid writing experience but wish to refresh their knowledge or further refine their skills.


In a world of funding cuts, effective bid writing is increasingly important for organisations to be successful. This course will give you some practical techniques and guidelines to enable you to make the most of funding opportunities.

Who should attend:

This session is aimed at volunteer managers and project co-ordinators.



There are many benefits to both volunteers and organisations when you involve volunteers with additional needs. Diverse volunteer teams bring different perspectives and skills to your organisation. However you may be unclear how to recruit or are not sure how to support them well.

Who should attend:

This course is aimed at anyone who takes minutes in committee or board meetings and administrators who need to record meetings.



Volunteer Management



Who should attend:

This course is aimed at volunteer managers and co-ordinators or anyone with responsibility for managing volunteers.



This is an ideal course for busy volunteer co-ordinators who wish to gain knowledge of best practice and how to apply it.  The day will also provide opportunities to network and share information.  The course will cover:

This is an informal and friendly two day course run by RNIB and supported by other local organisations and specialists in the field of sight loss.
