Understanding Bereavement Workshop - Taster Session

Did you know the average cost of replacing an employee could be between £20k and £40k?  The majority of people (56%) said they would consider leaving their job if their employer did not provide proper support if someone close to them died.

This session is delivered in partnership with St Giles Hospice and aims to help you think about your roles and responses when there is a death in the work community, or when a colleague experiences a death in their family or friendship circle.

We are really proud of the extensive learning opportunities we deliver across Staffordshire for those working in the VCSE sector.  We  limit the number of spaces on each course to make sure all learners have the best possible expereince, this means that often courses get booked up really quickly.  It is disappointing therefore when people don't turn up for their training and don't let us know in advance.  As a result of this we have changed our cacellation policy.

To qualify for the member rate you must be a member of Support Staffordshire. Support Staffordshire reserves the right to charge the full rate for your booking if you are not a member.

• How do you approach discussions about care planning?

• When is the right time to have these conversations?

THE RIGHT START: Monitoring and Evaluation

This training is funded by Staffordshire County Council. To access this session for FREE you must be a member of Support Staffordshire or Staffordshire Council of Voluntary Youth Services. Support Staffordshire reserves the right to charge you for your booking if you are not a member.
