Level 2 - Emergency First Aid at Work

Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) Level 2

Content includes:

  • Responsibilities and reporting
  • Assessment of the situation
  • Dealing with an unresponsive casualty
  • Basic hygiene in First Aid
  • Burns
  • Epilepsy
  • Resuscitation
  • Anatomy
  • Minor injuries
  • Bleeding control
  • Choking
  • Shock

Free to members of SCVYS or Support Staffordshire. Spaces are limited to two per organisation.

Emergency FIRST AID at Work (EFAAW)

Aims: To impart knowledge of First Aid to enable students to obtain the standard required to attain an Emergency First at Work certificate.

Objectives: Students will be able to demonstrate: Incident Management

  • How to perform Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

  • Use a defibrillator

  • Recognise an unresponsive casualty and perform the Recovery Position

  • Recognise and treat major and minor bleeding and shock

Level 2 - Emergency First Aid at Work

Training for SCVYS and Support Staffordshire members only. There are 12 spaces on this course, limited to two candidates per organisation.

Please note that even though the course is free to members of SCVYS and Support Staffordshire, if you reserve a place and then fail to attend on the day you will be charged the full cost of the course.
