FREE courses for Parents, Carers and Adults

We are pleased to announce that Dyslexia Association of Staffordshire (DAS) are offering a FREE 12 hour course for parents, carers and adults called 'Dyslexia and Maths, Dyscalculia and Anxiety around Maths'.  Please see attached information leaflet (bottom half) for further details on course content.

This informative and useful 4 week course begins on Monday 16th September from 10am to 1pm at Tamworth Community Fire Station, Belgrave, Tamworth. Booking is essential!

Staffordshire Community Learning Trust Responsiveness Fund

The Staffordshire Community Learning Trust Responsiveness Fund (CLTRF) offers local grants for the delivery of adult learning programmes which address the identified needs of local communities. The CLTRF is funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency.

The funding is for the delivery of education and training for adults returning to learning (aged 19+ as of 31st August 2019).

FREE CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety (ONLINE)

To access this training course you must be a member of Support Staffordshire or Staffordshire Council of Voluntary Youth Services.


Everyone who works with food has a special responsibility for safeguarding the health of consumers and ensure that the food they serve or sell is perfectly safe to eat.

CIEH qualifications have been developed to address the growing need to make learning more relevant to specific business environments and meet the National Occupational Standards. 

INTRODUCTION TO SUSTAINABILITY FOR MICRO AND SME ORGANISATIONS & CHARITIES

As a small community organisation or charity, implementing an environmental management system isn't always feasible or appropriate, however you still want to remain environmentally sustainable - so what is the compromise?

This workshop will cover a simplistic way to introduce sustainability into your organisation. Using a systemic approach, you will explore ways to realistically implement eco-friendly changes, that may also aid with other cost savings and reduce resource reliance.
