Let's Work Together - Falls, Smoking, Weight Management, Dementia Friends and Carers

Everyone Health will be enabling people to spot the signs of people at risk of falling, obesity, smoking, loneliness and how to access a service that can help people live healthy, safe and independent lives.

THE RIGHT START: Involving Volunteers

Who should attend:

This session is aimed at both paid staff and volunteers who support other volunteers within an organisation.


Volunteers are a valuable resource providing the backbone of many community organisations, and without whom, many groups would not exist.  This introductory session is a great place to start learning best practice in recruiting, supporting and retaining volunteers.

THE RIGHT START: Income Generation and Funding

Who should attend:

This session is aimed at both those new to the world of funding and those who simply need a refresher.


As the voluntary sector continues to face the hardship of funding cuts it is becoming increasingly necessary for community groups and organisations to generate and manage income from multiple sources.  This introductory session will provide guidance to identify ways to maximise opportunities to generate additional income for organisations.

GraveTalk Masterclass

We’re running a Grave Talk Masterclass to give advice and guidance to people who’d like to start running community discussion or support groups around death and dying.

The online session will be hosted by local expert, David Primrose, Director for Transforming Communities at the Diocese of Lichfield. He has a huge wealth of knowledge and experience in this field and would love to share it with you!



NEW Olive Branch Training - East Staffordshire

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service works closely with partner agencies to ensure the safety and wellbeing of communities.

Effective Bid Writing

Who is this for:

Those who are new to bid writing and want in depth knowledge and skills. Those who have some bid writing experience but wish to refresh their knowledge or further refine their skills.


In a world of funding cuts, effective bid writing is increasingly important for organisations to be successful. This course will give you some practical techniques and guidelines to enable you to make the most of funding opportunities.
