Support Staffordshire Services from The Guildhall

Members can now access Support Staffordshire services from The Guildhall in Newcastle and there is also a drop-in session available for people who are interested in volunteering in the Newcastle area.

Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work

This training is only available to members of SCVYS and Support Staffordshire and is free to member organisations. Spaces are limited to two per organisation, if you require more spaces please contact training@staffscvys.org.uk

Please note that even though the course is free to members of SCVYS and Support Staffordshire, if you reserve a place and then fail to attend on the day you will be invoiced for the full cost of the course (£25.00 per person).

Support Staffordshire Celebrates its Volunteers at 5th Birthday Event

Just as Support Staffordshire, promotes and supports volunteering; we also benefit from the help of our own bunch of volunteers; and they received a big thank you at our 5th Birthday Event a few weeks back.

The volunteers, were thanked by Humphrey Scott-Moncrieff, Deputy Lieutenant & an ambassador for the Queens Award for Voluntary Service, and Mike Smith, Chief Executive of Stafford Railway Building Society, who kindly sponsored the awards.

Support Staffordshire delivers a £10m inward investment present for its 5th birthday

A leading Staffordshire membership and umbrella body for the voluntary sector is celebrating its 5th birthday in style after announcing it has secured more than £10m of inward investment over the same period – all going towards boosting local communities.

Support Staffordshire, which has assisted more than 1000 charities and organisations since it was formed, marked ‘helping its members to be the best they can be’ at a special anniversary party at Stafford Gatehouse.

Networking Event 8th July at Wolstanton Methodist Church

Once again this summer we will be using our loality fas a networking event for organisations delivering services in Newcastle-under-Lyme. Organisations will have the opportunity to showcase their work and find out more about what other organisations in the area are delivering.
