Requests for Welfare Checks

It remains a policing priority for Staffordshire Police to work with you to protect vulnerable people.

We have reviewed our longstanding practice of ‘welfare check’ requests made by partner agencies both statutory and non-statutory.

Staffordshire Police is committed to putting the needs of vulnerable people at the centre of all we do. This means we will seek to ensure that the most appropriate agency deals with the concern.

STAFFORDSHIRE AND STOKE-ON-TRENT WELLBEING SERVICE LAUNCHES 1 APRIL 2020

The way improving access to psychological therapies (IAPT) services are provided locally is changing on 1 April 2020 with the launch of the new Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Wellbeing Service.

The new service will bring together existing IAPT teams in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent into one, fully integrated service with a single point of access.

Buddying Up in Lichfield

There are lots of great social groups and activities on offer across Lichfield District but not everyone finds it easy to take part and get involved. They may lack the confidence to try new things, be shy about meeting new people or simply not be aware of what is on offer or where things are happening.

Safeguarding Children

This session will provide participants with an understanding of what to look for to safeguard children from harm, how to recognise abuse, respond effectively and refer appropriately and how social care responds including assessments together with child protection plans.

Lets Work Together Workshop

Who should attend:

This FREE workshop aims to equip individuals with the tools, training and skills they need to provide the 'eyes and ears' for partner organisations.

It offers a wide range of support and signposting to local people to help them live healthy, safe and independent lives.
