Digital agency White Fuse is to give away a £5,000 grant each month to help a small or medium sized charities/nonprofits (turnover of less than £1m) to transform its website or get online for the first time. The funding covers setup costs of the website including content strategy, design, development and launch to a value of £5,000.

Support Staffordshire will be offering the opportunity for potential volunteers and groups seeking advice and support to drop in to see our Social Action Officer, Julie Hughes at Newcastle Library on Thursday mornings. Julie will be there from 10am until 12pm every Thursday from 5 January. We are planning to set up other drop-in sessions in the Newcastle area so watch this space for further news. Support Staffordshire is focusing its Moorlands locality services at Bank House in St Edward Street, Leek from the end of December. The Leek base will no longer be split between offices at 9 High Street and Bank House. Phone numbers will continue with the main number being 01538 381356 for all services and the community transport booking line operating on 01538 386888 from 9am to 1pm Monday to Friday. The phone number previously used for volunteering and employability services - 01538 398240 - will no longer be used. If you want to drop in to see us, please come to Bank House.
The JCB Academy opened its doors in September 2010 as the first of a brand new kind of school in the UK, with a focus on delivering high-quality engineering and business education.
