Founded by John Barratt, a local experienced radio presenter, the station is a true community endeavour run by volunteers both on air and behind the scenes. Who should attend:
This session is aimed at those who are new to marketing or those looking to broaden their marketing knowledge.
Whether you are a new organisation looking at marketing products or services or just wanting to broaden current techniques for the purposes of fundraising, getting more service users or simply raising awareness, this introductory session will provide the basic marketing principles organisations can use.
This event will bring together representatives from the local voluntary and community sector and public sector to share knowledge and promote the earliest help work that happens within the Tamworth Community.

It will update on earliest help so far, share the 4 priorities, explore how to address the priorities and network and build relationships.

Everyone Health will be enabling people to spot the signs of people at risk of falling, obesity, smoking, loneliness and how to access a service that can help people live healthy, safe and independent lives.
The session will also include a Dementia Friends session where you can learn more about dementia and how you can help to create dementia friendly communities.
Finally, Andy will be giving a presentation on the services the Carers Hub offers and how to access
NEW 12 month pilot - Community Buddy scheme to support local residents that live in the Castle Ward in Tamworth.
Support Staffordshire will be recruiting and training a team of volunteers to become community buddies to offer a friendly ear to local residents, signposting and supporting accessibility to voluntary, community and health services.
The purpose is to connect community members with community buddies to enable them to attend local groups and to encourage and assist people facing barriers to access support within their local community.
The June meeting of the Newcastle VCSE Locality Forum will take the form of a market place event.
It will be held at St George's Centre, Cherry Orchard, Newcastle-under-Lyme ST5 2UB from 5pm to 7pm on Monday 11th June 2018.
Groups that cannot normally take part in our day time meetings are particularly encouraged to attend.
The aim of the event is for local groups to showcase what they do and network with other voluntary and community groups in Newcastle-under-Lyme and the wider North Staffordshire.
