This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the leading Staffordshire charities supporting people affected by dementia.  Approach specialises in the care of older people with dementia by providing a range of services such as: high quality day groups, one to one personalised support, Approach Carers Cafés and training and awareness sessions. We are also commissioned by the CCG to provide advice to anyone affected by dementia in North Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent.

Caring Communities Link Worker

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen at CASS, a forward thinking local charity supporting family carers.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team and promote the Caring Communities Agenda and Dementia Friendly Communities.

The post is partly funded by South Staffordshire Council and will ensure increased exposure of the Good Life platform by working alongside established groups and community leaders linking to a developing ‘Social prescribing Model’ . Identifying Carers and assisting them to gain support is also key to this role.


ACTION ON HEARING LOSS has a vacancy for a home base, part time,  OUTREACH SUPPORT OFFICER in Staffordshire. Staffordshire Victim Gateway Assessor

Citizens Advice Mid Staffordshire are currently recruiting for a Staffordshire Victim Gateway Assessor.

Duration: Funded by Staffs Police Crime Commissioner, fixed term to 31st March 2019

Salary: £16,500 per annum pro rata

Hours: 32.5 hours per week

Location: Based at Anson Court, Burton upon Trent

Local Charity require Assistant/PA

The Trustees of Cycle-R are looking for someone to take the role of a PA/Assistant.  The role will have a broad remit, covering initial work such as organising filing cabinets for multiple organisations under the Cycle-R banner, general tidying up of the filing systems, contact details and so on.  We would also like someone to assist the HR Trustee in the development of staff manuals, printing, organising, etc.  From there, if the individual has sufficient IT skills, the tidying up and reconciliation of the computer files, IT information, databases and so on.

CACH (Communities Against Crimes of Hate) - External Consultant

Communities Against Crimes of Hate (CACH) are looking to commission an external consultant to undertake a piece of developmental work to support CACH in building a robust and sustainable service.

CACH has been delivering services within Staffordshire for over 15 years. Originally establishing reporting and support pathways for victims of Hate Crime, it has expanded its work into schools and workplace training, raising awareness and working pro-actively to promote equality and diversity.
