Locality Officer (Newcastle-under-Lyme)

21 hours a week – £23,000 pro rata

Main base: The Guildhall, Newcastle-under-Lyme with travel

If you have experience of advising voluntary and community groups on running an effective organisation, including funding and volunteer management, and you would enjoy working in an enthusiastic team, committed to the local community, then this could be the job for you.

You will need to have a good understanding of the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector and, ideally, be familiar with the sector in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Disability Welfare Benefits Advocacy Worker

Salary of £18,476 with pension contribution and Employee Assistance Programme.

The Disability Solutions West Midlands and The Henry Smith Charity partnership are seeking to recruit a full time (37hrs per week) Disability Welfare Benefits Advocacy Worker to support people with disabilities and long-term health conditions to secure appropriate welfare benefits, offering support through form-filling, support during work capability assessments and face-to-face assessments, focusing support for those who experience difficulty with self-efficacy.

Welfare Benefits Adviser for the Macmillan Welfare Benefits Service for Staffordshire

The post is 18hrs per week with actual salary £10,800 - £11,206 with pension contribution and Employee Assistance Programme.

Building Better Opportunities Project Coordinator

Healthwatch Chair and Board Members Recruitment

Engaging Communities Staffordshire (ECS) were successful in winning the Healthwatch Stoke-on-Trent contract that is due to commence on 1 February 2019. Healthwatch Stoke-on-Trent, was established in April 2013 with the primary aim of improving the services offered to local people in the areas of health, adult and children’s social care in conjunction with a wide range of partners and stakeholders.

To support this new service, ECS are currently undertaking a recruitment process to recruit a Healthwatch Chairperson and Board members.
