Coalfields COVID-19 Recovery and Resilience Fund for England

The Coalfields Regeneration Trust is an independent grant making body dedicated exclusively to the regeneration of coalfield communities. Since its launch in 1999, the Coalfields Regeneration Trust has become a key agency promoting and achieving social and economic regeneration in the coalfield communities of England.

The Coalfields COVID-19 Recovery & Resilience Fund is an interim replacement for the Coalfields Community Investment Programme (CCIP).

Stop Loan Sharks Community Fund

Closing date: 31 August 2020

Grants up to £50000 are available for local charities, community and voluntary groups, schools and statutory agencies in England for projects that target illegal money lending.

Local charities, community and voluntary groups, schools, statutory agencies and local residents in England can apply.

Successful applicants will be expected to book free “Stop Loan Sharks” training which will be delivered by a member of the IMLT for staff and/or volunteers (if they have not already had this).

Veolia Environmental Trust

Application deadline: 3 September 2020

The Veolia Environmental Trust was set up in 1997 under the Landfill Communities Fund and awards monies derived from landfill tax to support a wide range of environmentally focused projects throughout England. Veolia has contributed more than £87 million which has been used to award more than 2,400 grants to a range of projects.

The Trust is a charity and an Environmental Body registered under the Landfill Tax Regulations established to protect, preserve and improve the environment for the benefit of the public.

Henry Moore Foundation

Closing date: 9 September 2020

Grants up to £20,000 are available to support the growth and development of sculpture across historical, modern and contemporary registers and to fund research that expands the appreciation of sculpture.

The Foundation offers funding in the following categories:

Independent Age - £5-15k grants to help older people hardest hit by Covid-19

Closing date: 11 September 2020 | 9am

Independent Age have flagged a new grants scheme to us that I'm sure will be of interest to ACRE Network members.

Grants of between £5-15k are being made to charities to step up their work with older people in response to Covid-19 over the next 6 months. 

You must already be helping older people living in particularly complex and challenging situations or older people in danger of being out of sight and out of mind.

COVID 19 Support Fund

Closing date: 30 October 2020

A huge, co-ordinated effort across community and voluntary groups across our county is making a huge difference to isolated and vulnerable people, and those in most need of help. Local people are also stepping up to put projects together make a difference.

Now the new COVID-19 Support Fund has been set up to help keep this happening. It’s rapid, flexible funding to support communities to do their bit and to make sure that the voluntary sector continues to thrive now and after the crisis.
