A lively group of people affected by Parkinson’s Disease, both those with the condition and those caring for others with it, meets every Wednesday morning at Red Street Community Centre from 10.00am to 1.00pm. It’s a great chance to meet other people who face similar health issues and understand the challenges. Not only does the group enjoy a morning of activities at the community centre every week, there is also a day trip organised once a month. In September the trip was to Southport for the day. It is an open group and anyone can drop in to take part.
