Together We're Better Workforce Listening Events

The Together We’re Better partnership is launching a 12-week public conversation across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent to listen and understand what is important to you about health and care locally, what works well and what you think should be improved.

As a partner in Together We’re Better, we are working alongside NHS organisations, local authorities, Healthwatch and voluntary and community sector groups to achieve a joint vision of ‘working with you to make Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent the healthiest places to live and work’.

Voluntary Sector Safeguarding Resources Survey

Development of National Safeguarding Resources for the Third Sector

The National Lottery Community Fund has awarded funding to the Safer Social Sector Partnership (SSP) to fund the creation of a comprehensive suite of free safeguarding tools and advice for the voluntary sector.

Ann Craft Trust as members of the SSP have taken on the task of producing resources for the adult safeguarding element of the free resources and to that end they’ve asked if voluntary organisations and users of voluntary organisations could help to shape the resources by completing a survey.

Staffordshire County Council and the NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups in Staffordshire have put together a draft strategy for carers, which sets out our priorities. We would like to hear from carers and professionals what they think of the proposed strategy, and if there is anything else we need to consider.

Tamworth Borough Council response re closure of Citizens Advice Mid-Staffordshire

Citizens Advice Mid Staffordshire currently provides a range of advisory services to Tamworth residents on behalf of Tamworth Borough Council, in what has been a very effective partnership.

We are saddened by the news that CAMS is to close and appreciate it must have been a very difficult decision for the trustees to make. The council had no previous warning of the closure.
