Hold hands with Burton Breast Care Support Group

Burton Breast Care Support Group aim to provide friendship and support to all ladies living with breast cancer.

They meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month at Burton Library at 7pm.

Their mission is to provide a haven and to support fellow breast cancer survivors, whether going through check-ups, chemotherapy, radiotherapy or the after effects of treatment.

Their monthly meetings provide fun evenings with activities, speakers and the obligatory tea and cake! 

New members are always welcome along with supportive friends!

Introduction to BLAST - Burntwood and Lichfield Autism Support Together

BLAST (Burntwood and Lichfield Autism Support Together) aims to give parents the chance to connect, share information and help each other navigate the challenges of raising a child with autism. In the future they hope to deliver opportunities for children with autism such as days out, activities and workshops.

BLAST have a jam packed program coming up in the next couple of months. As a relatively new group, their members have told them that they like BLAST’s ’all under one roof’ approach.  

Pathway Project Presents - Cream Tea with Nell Gwynne at Tutbury Castle

For their next event, Pathway Patrons are proud to present the fabulous Lesley Smith who is kindly hosting a fundraising Cream Tea at the amazing Tutbury Castle, Castle St, Tutbury, Staffs, DE13 9JF on Sunday 23 June 2019 2pm-4pm. She is entertaining us with her unique portrayal of Nell Gwynne, a prolific celebrity figure of the Restoration period. Praised by Samuel Pepys for her comic performances as one of the first actresses on the English stage, she became best known for being a long-time mistress of King Charles II of England and Scotland.

Staffordshire Village Halls Network Meeting – Succession Planning and widening Engagement within your communities

The 2nd Staffordshire Village Halls Network meeting, organised by Support Staffordshire, will centre on the theme of Succession Planning, wider engagement and recruiting volunteers. The format will be 2 -3 hours of talks, presentations and networking time with refreshments.

The agenda will be circulated before the event.  Places are limited, so to guarantee your place book now.

Please note: Derrington village hall has a small car park, and car parking on the road will be necessary.
