Support Staffordshire promotes, enables and supports voluntary organisations to involve volunteers in all aspects of their work. We promote and advertise opportunities to volunteer with both VCSE and public sector organisations. We advise and support organisations in high quality volunteer management, from recruitment and induction to training and development, and recognition of volunteer contribution.
For organisations seeking the highest standards in their work with volunteers, we also offer NCVO Investors in Volunteering accreditation through our Expert Adviser.
Volunteer Centre services are free to organisations who are members of Support Staffordshire. You can find out more about becoming a member by visiting our Membership page.
We also support volunteering on a not-for-profit basis in the public sector through our Volunteer Centre Associates scheme. For further details inlcuding prices please contact Claire Terry on 0300 777 1207.

Recruiting and referring volunteers
By registering details with us about your organisation and your volunteer vacancies, we can refer volunteers meeting your requirements who would like to offer their time.
Wherever possible, we will visit you to learn more about what you do, how you work and what you’re looking for in a volunteer. This enables us to get a better understanding of your organisation, so we can introduce your work to potential volunteers, answer any questions they may have and explain what needs to happen for them to start volunteering.
We will promote your volunteering opportunities to potential volunteers, including on the national volunteering website www.do-it.org.uk, as well as through events, local media, newsletters and e-bulletins.
At Support Staffordshire we work with as wide a network as possible of volunteer-involving organisations in the area, and as such we can also help you to make links with other organisations and share information.
If you would like to register your volunteering opportunities with us, please contact your local Support Staffordshire office.
