Three Wise Women CIC Conference: Women's Enterprise Day

Three Wise Women CIC are hosting a one day conference to celebrate Women's Enterprise Day on Thursday 19th November at The Waterfront, Barton Marina and are asking women to bring along their old bras to give to the Smalls for All Charity.

Joyce Bullock- joint organiser and Director of Three Wise Women said "Bring your bras, boost your business, pep up your perkiness, smarten up your savvy, support yourself...with our one day conference that gets you back on track". She added "this is for any woman who runs a business or aspires to, no matter how big or small."

Regular readers may have read my impassioned plea last month, that recognises the true ‘value’ of the VCSE sector is not in its underpaid and overstretched (i.e. cheap) workforce, but in its needs-led, community driven, bottom-up ethos. Our argument for sector support (or infrastructure as it is sometimes known) is to provide scaffolding that nurtures such an ethos.

Staffordshire Wildlife Trust Free Wildplay & Wildlife Walks

The Staffordshire Wildlife Trust are holding a series of free Lichfield Wildplay dates, which form part of the Lichfield District Council funded "Wild about Lichfield" project.

There are 8 sessions running on four different dates over the autumn and they will be using some new sites for the sessions such as Stowe Pool and Beacon Park.
