On the 27th of August Talent Match signed up their 100th beneficiary! *Trumpet sound!*

This is a fantastic milestone for the project and testament to the fabulous work the Talent Match Staffordshire team are doing with young people in Newcastle, Lichfield and Cannock.

Tamworth Food Gusto Festival to Offer a Taste of Something Different

Food lovers will be able to sample the region’s finest culinary delights at a brand new food and drink festival taking place in Tamworth this year. Tamworth’s Town Team, Destination Tamworth, has joined forces with Ashby-based ‘Food Gusto’ to bring dozens of unique and artisan traders to the area this September.

From handmade crisps and locally-brewed beer to organic meat, pickles and pates, the first ever Tamworth Food Gusto Festival will showcase the best the town and wider Midlands region has to offer in the way of quality produce.

Are you a needy householder of 70 years or over living in Lichfield city? If so you are invited to apply for a grant towards the cost of your heating.

The Trustees of Michael Lowe's and Associated Charities (Registered Charity No. 214785) will select recipients for Charitable gifts of grants for fuel on the 26th November 2015. Grants will be paid in February 2016.

Wat Mahathat Temple INTER-FAITH FORUM 2015

Wat Mahathat Temple at Kings Bromley is organizing an Inter-Faith Forum. The event will take place from 09.00am to 3.00pm on Tuesday 15 September 2015.

The purpose of the Forum is to invite leaders and representatives of different faiths to join a small gathering, share their views, and meet and have lunch with representatives of the Sangha of Buddhist Monks from Thailand.

This will provide an opportunity to hear the viewpoints of different faiths on how faith helps the individual cope in a technologically advanced society.
