Community Diagnostic Hubs (CDHs) – Please give us your views

Across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, we are working to improve diagnostic services (tests to work out what is causing a person’s illness or symptoms), by creating Community Diagnostic Hubs (CDHs). At the moment, most of these tests are done in larger acute hospitals, but it is now recommended, as part of national guidance, that NHS organisations across England move to providing these in Community Diagnostic Hubs. This aims to support patients to get the tests they need closer to home.

Donate IT to get Stoke Connected

VAST is totally stoked to announce the launch of Donate IT, the new digital tech recycling scheme for Stoke-on-Trent.

YMCA Burton’s 13th Sleepout to be held in-person and virtually this October

YMCA Burton have announced that its 13th annual Sleepout will be held in-person with a virtual option too. The Charity also revealed that this year’s date will be Friday 29th October with tickets going on sale on the 9th of September.

The Sleepout encourages people to sleep out for one night to raise awareness and funds towards the plight of homelessness in the East Staffordshire borough area.
