Volunteers Fair Monday 3rd June 2019

Fri 17 May 2019

We are delighted to let you know that Support Staffordshire will be organising another Volunteers Fair on Monday 3rd June in Lichfield Market Square. The fair will coincide with Volunteers Week and, we have no doubt, will significantly raise the profile of volunteering to the general public.

This year’s Fair will grow on the one held last Summer and the 2 additional events held at South Staffordshire College and King Edward VI School over the last few months. At the last event, over 25 groups took part and were guaranteed a footfall of over 300. Whilst, we can’t guarantee the weather or numbers of visitors, we are sure there will be a genuine interest in what we have to offer to potential volunteers. The opening of the new library has increased numbers of people in the Market Square.

Have a look at some of the feedback received from last year’s event – it was a worthwhile couple of hours. We have the capacity to support over 20 groups at the next Fair.

Would you like to have or share a stand on the 3rd June? It is a free event. Let Rick Hill know by 17th May via email rick.hill@supportstaffordshire.org.uk
