Update on Transforming the Trent Valley

Thu 7 May 2020

Unfortunately due to the Covid 19 lockdown, Transforming the Trent Valley like many other organisations have had to cancel all face to face sessions until further notice. But that doesn’t mean you can’t join us for a daily dose of nature and heritage!

Our team have been really hard at work to create lots of online resources that are free to use and will guide you through ways to connect with nature while maintaining social distancing, ideas for outdoor play and nature crafts, lots of interesting blog posts about our projects, updates on the schemes first year, and interviews with the team to discuss how we can maintain our wellbeing at this time. Have a look at our website www.thetrentvalley.org.uk for more information.

This lockdown has shown how important nature is to our health and wellbeing, and we will have lots of ways for you to continue connecting with nature with us once we are able to deliver sessions again. We will be back with our Wildchild activities for children and families, setting up adult programmes for wellbeing and skill development in practical conservation, opportunities to volunteer on heritage projects, projects for young people to lead on and much more!

Keep an eye out for more information on our social media pages and website, and we hope to share the beauty of the Trent Valley with you again very soon. Take care and stay safe.
