Trustees wanted for Emmaus North Staffs

Thu 18 Jul 2019

Do you want to help support a new, exciting and developing charity in North Staffs?

Emmaus North Staffs (owner of Furniture Mine in Hanley) is seeking business-minded people to join their ever-growing board of trustees and help drive the charity forward.

Do you have a passion to help people who are suffering at the margins of society?  Could you share this passion with us?

Do you have essential business skills that could help a local charity that is part of a 350-strong global movement of homelessness charities?  Could you share your business skills with us?

We are looking to strengthen the board of our charity to further develop our successful Furniture Mine recycling social enterprise, the largest furniture & household reuse charity in the region helping many hundreds of local families every year.  We need help to take this to a new level that will support the creation of a home and place of work for 25 formerly homeless people, and we need passionate, experienced local business people to get us there.

If you have a broad understanding of business finance and budgets with an eye for future developments and maximising opportunities, we need to hear from you.

If you have a few hours a month to volunteer as a trustee, we would love to hear from you. For a no-obligation chat please call Roger Speare, chair of Emmaus North Staffs, on 07850 025807 or email to roger@emmausbolton.org.uk
