The Coalfields Regeneration Trust - Support

Tue 16 Nov 2021

The Coalfields Regeneration Trust (CRT) recently appointed a West Midlands Development Manager to enhance CRT financial and practical support to VCSE organisations operating within the region's coalfields.  Richard Stevens joined the team in September and stated “I’m really looking forward to supporting the fantastic work being done to deliver positive outcomes for coalfield communities.”

CRT will have grant funding available (up to £10K) to eligible applicants in the New Year, but also offer a comprehensive free practical support service to member organisations.  Membership benefits include:

  • Local Area Profiling -  detailed `Community Insight' Reports (6 monthly)
  • Identifying Sources of Funding - customised `Grant Finder' reports
  • Support applying for funding - feedback on drafts to any UK funder
  • Organisational Diagnostic Tool - analysis of organisational need
  • Networking - join over 380 organisations who are keen to work together
  • Online Resource Library - over 600 reports, studies and how-to-guides
  • Regional Training Events - online sessions such as measuring impact planned for 2022
  • Signposting - to partner organisations

If you operate a VCSE organisation that delivers services relating to Health & Wellbeing or Employment and Skills to a coalfield community, you are invited to contact Richard for further information at richard.stevens@coalfields-regen.org.uk
