Douglas Macmillan Hospice - Volunteer Buddy - Patient and carer support – Multiple locations

Volunteer Buddy - Patient and carer support. A unique and rewarding opportunity to support our patients and their carers. It could be that they need you to sit and chat whilst the carer has a break, do some shopping or take them for a hospital appointment. No clinical experience is needed or required but would suit someone with a compassionate nature. .Role available in multi locations.


East Staffordshire Family Support Service – Support Volunteer - Martial Arts – East Staffordshire

Staffordshire Children's Centres – Food Project Worker -  Lichfield

The role will include collecting food from Lidl and organising storage of the food for families to access at the children’s centre. Access to vehicle essential Travel expenses will be paid. Manual lifting is required as the food is put in boxes at Lidl and needs to be loaded by the volunteer into their car and brought into the centre. The volunteer will organise the food in the storage area and at the collection point in the front of the centre.
