NORTH STAFFS: Drivers Required for "virtual" Lunch Club

Mon 25 Jan 2021

North Staffs Live at Home Service have a new volunteering opportunity for drivers based near Tunstall or Biddulph (or who are happy to drive in these areas).

The opportunity is for a "virtual" lunch club, where instead of diners coming to a central place once a week, the food travels to them.

In short, the job involves picking up three to four meals from a central hub and delivering them safely to local residents.

This provides residents not only with a hot meal (cooked by someone else!) but the knowledge that their community hasn't forgotten about them and that they will be welcomed back as soon as it is safe to do so.

This opportunity takes place on a Tuesday Morning.

If you are interested then please get in touch with Ed Sumner the local volunteering co-ordinator by emailing your name, email address and phone number to edward.sumner@supportstaffordshire.org.uk
