North Staffordshire and Stoke MCP Alliance Board – Call for VCSE Representative
Thu 1 Jun 2017
A new board has been set up to steer and plan for the development of a North Staffordshire Multi-specialty Community Provider (MCP) model. The voluntary, community and social enterprise sector has an opportunity to nominate its own elected representatives – three in total, one from each of the areas of Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire Moorlands, and Stoke-on-Trent. You are invited to put forward a nomination to represent either Newcastle-under-Lyme or the Staffordshire Moorlands.
The MCP model is part of the local Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP) which covers the whole of Staffordshire and Stoke–on-Trent. One of the first tasks is to start the process of developing a Project Plan for the development of the North Staffordshire MCP which will involve:
· Sharing the plans with partners and stakeholders
· Demonstrating the Board’s commitment to establishing an MCP
· Delivering on an agreed programme of work
There is more information on the attached form which includes the nomination form to be completed and returned to Garry Jones at Support Staffordshire by email to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 30th June 2017
