Brighter Futures

Tue 6 Feb 2018

Brighter Futures ECHO service now offers a support group in Newcastle under Lyme every Wednesday for people with experience of self harm.

ECHO gives you the opportunity to talk in confidence to other people who understand how you are feeling, providing mutual support and information for people who have experienced self harm, who are aged 18 and above.

ECHO offers a chance to talk, information about alternative ways of coping, awareness and understanding and a safe, confidential and supportive environment.

There are different ways ECHO can support you depending on what you feel you need, this could be:

  • Talking with other group members in a safe environment
  • Talking one-to-one with people who understand what you are going through
  • Attending workshops to learn about new ways to cope
  • Getting information about other places that can support you

You can download the ECHO timetable below, which details groups and workshops that take place in Stoke on Trent and Newcastle under Lyme, as well as poster with full details of the new Newcastle under Lyme group.
