New Places of Welcome in Burton

Burton is becoming an even more Welcoming Place!
Places of Welcome is a growing network of local community groups providing their neighbourhoods with places where all people feel safe to belong, connect and contribute.
Since the article in the February ebulletin, we have been pleased to introduce 4 new Places of Welcome in Burton, these are as follows:
1. Burton Library opened its doors as a Place of Welcome on 12th March and will be delighted to welcome guests on:
Tuesdays between 2pm and 4pm
2. Queens Street Community Centre opened as a Place of Welcome on 15th March and runs its Place of Welcome session on:
Fridays 1 - 2pm
3. Trent and Dove’s “Wishes for Winshill Community Café” is already providing a welcoming place for the local community but will be offering a “Place of Welcome” on:
Thursday mornings 9 – 11am
4. Winshill Neighbourhood Resource Centre is an established community hub in Winshill, their Place of Welcome is open on:
Wednesdays 12 – 2pm and Fridays 9 – 11.30am
Anybody can pop along to their local Place of Welcome and will be guaranteed a warm welcome, free hospitality and the opportunity to make friends in the local community.
Places of Welcome are open at the same time every week.
