Football Foundation - Small Grants

Applications may be made at any time, preferably not more than once per football season.

Grants are available for purchasing equipment and items to enable grassroots football organisations in England to restart activities after the period of COVID-19 restrictions.

Grants of up to £25,000 can be awarded.

The grant size available depends on the type of investment that the club is applying for. Details on the grant sizes are available in the guidance notes that can be accessed at the website of the Football Foundation.

Football Foundation - Grass Pitch Maintenance Fund

Applications will be accepted until the fund is used.

Grants are available for grassroots football organisations in England to sustain football pitches already at a 'good' level and to enhance pitches that are either considered 'poor' or 'basic'.

The fund has a total value of £14 million.

Lichfield Community Lottery

We are excited to be launching a weekly lottery in the spring of 2021, to raise money for good causes across the district and to give players a chance to win a £25,000 jackpot plus smaller prizes. 

Tickets go on sale from 2 March and the first draw is on 10 April 2021.

Lichfield Community Lottery is a local authority lottery, which is licensed by The Gambling Commission.

a month supporting the panel members? Do you like designing and creating things?

(Do you like working with wood, metal or electrics).

Then join us and use your skills to make customised aids for people with disabilities.

We also require a minute’s secretary for (2-4) hours a month, plus someone interested in

publicity to help raise the profile of ‘The Staffordshire Remap Panel’.

Together We're Better COVID-19 Stakeholder Update - 15 March 2021

More than 76,000 positive tests for COVID-19 have been recorded in the year since the first case was confirmed in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.

A total of 18,935 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Stoke-on-Trent since the first positive test was announced 12 months ago and in the wider county, an additional 57,279 positive cases have been confirmed.

South West Peak Spotlight: Connecting and Celebrating South West Peak Communities

With the Peak District National Park as lead partner and the support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund this 5-year partnership (with benefits reaching far beyond that time) works with local communities to build stronger connections with the landscape and with each other.
