Free Communications Workshops

Staffordshire County Council are running FREE Communications Workshops for voluntary sector organisations.

Organisations can book onto the events using the links below.  Each workshop has 20 places and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

Organisations can send one representative so that the learning can be shared with as many voluntary organisations as possible

Bringing people together for the 11th annual Sleepout in Burton-on-Trent

Friday 8th November was the 11th annual Sleepout for YMCA Burton.

A mix of 214 adults and children gave up their beds for one night to raises vital funds for the charity which has seen a funding cut of over £400,000 in the past 4 years.

Changes Tamworth receives ESF funding

It is amazing news for ‘Changes Tamworth’ we have recently received funding from the European Social Fund. Changes Staff and all our members would like to thank them for supporting us in saving lives on a daily basis and also believing in us to enable us to carry on this vital work we provide to the Community.

We provide Structured Workshops and Peer Support Groups on a weekly basis to improve an individual’s mental distress.

Healthwatch Staffordshire - Care Navigation survey

The Primary Care Team at the CCG have commissioned Healthwatch Staffordshire to conduct a patient engagement survey on Active Signposting (also known as ‘Care Navigation’) across South and East Staffordshire.  Active Signposting can have a valuable impact in helping patients/carers see the most appropriate professional or service first time.  We recognise all of the hardwork of Receptionists across the area to help patients and carers.
