Kingswood Back to Nature Campaign

Wed 1 Jul 2020

The Kingswood Trust, as many other local charities, have been deprived of their lifeblood of income and donations for several months now (especially with schools being closed down also) and are looking for support from the wider community.

They have produced a short film to showcase some of their excellent work for children & families.

With the government easing some restrictions they are taking the opportunity to allow controlled access to their wonderful facilities for children and families.  Initially this will be in the form of ‘ picnic sessions’ where families can come from 10.00 to 13.00 or from 14.00 to 17.00 on the Wednesdays of 8 July and 15 July (with more dates later) and enjoy the freedom of our 9 acre site.

They are charging £12.50 for a family of up to 5 in a car for each session, which will be able to be booked via Eventbrite.  Later in July they will also be arranging ‘ wild camping’ days/ nights (just bring a tent and we provide a space, toilet facilities and access to water).

If you'd like to donate to the Kingswood trust please visit their Just Giving page.
