In Kind Direct – spend more on support, not supplies
Tue 14 May 2019
In Kind Direct is a charity founded by HRH The Prince of Wales in 1997. It connects businesses and manufacturers with new products to donate, to charitable organisations that need them. These are goods that would otherwise end up in landfill. They have worked with 9,700 charitable organisations (not just registered charities) and members could each save thousands of pounds every year. Registration is completely free and their online catalogue is regularly updated with products from toiletries, cleaning products and bedding, to toys, mother & baby supplies, arts & craft goods and small appliances and much more. In Kind Direct also works with trusted partners to get great deals on essentials like stationery, office supplies and training for their network members.
Organisations can use products to run activities and services, maintain facilities and give to those you directly support for free. In Kind Direct will help you spend more on support, not supplies. Using the service is as easy as 1, 2, 3: register for free online, order what you need when you want, and start receiving goods! There is a small charge for products, which is a contribution towards the costs of the service and includes delivery – as a charity, In Kind Direct meets the rest of the costs. There are no membership fees.
Visit their website to register for free today. If you have any questions, contact Charlotte, Head of Charity Partnerships at firstname.lastname@example.org. For more of a taste of how it all works, take a look at this short video.
