Exploring family bereavement experiences: when a surviving family member has dementia

Wed 15 Jan 2020

Would you be willing to help with the design of a research project which is being planned as part of a Professional Doctorate study?

Nikki Taylor is a third year Professional Doctorate Student at Keele University. She also works in the Family Support and Bereavement Team at St Giles where she has increasingly become involved in supporting families who are facing or have been bereaved in circumstances where a surviving family member has dementia. She is now looking to develop research which will help people facing similar circumstances.

A one hour workshop session will be held at:

Tamworth Memory Café meeting, Sacred Heart, Silverlink Road, Glascote, B77 2EA on Tuesday 4th February 2020, 11.15am – 12.15pm

and at

Lichfield Memory Café meeting, Methodist Church, Tamworth Street, WS13 6JJ on Thursday 20th February 2020, 10.45 am – 11.45am

The aim of the workshop is to consult with those who have experience to explore what is important about the proposed research and how it is undertaken.
