The Young Ones

By creating Gift Boxes for local children between 0 and 17 years who may otherwise receive nothing or very little to celebrate an important event, we endeavour to bring some happiness where otherwise there would be only emptiness.

Welfare agencies in contact with children in need within a radius of approximately 15 miles of Burton request the boxes which we prepare for them to deliver. We can also create Emergency Boxes at times of crisis, containing basic toiletries, clothes and toys.

Growing Together Launch

July 5th saw Harvey girls and Dads4Dads launch the "Growing Together" and "Thinking Differently" projects at The Family Hub, Abbot Beyne School. 

The launch event was to open the "Thinking Differently" Lottery funded programme and the "Growing Together" gardening project, which forms part of the programme but is a community resource for local families and students from local schools.

Tamworth…What’s Next? was launched by the Leader of Tamworth Borough Council, Cllr Daniel Cook, earlier this year, with the aim of working with residents, businesses and visitors to develop a new vision for the town centre.

Air Aware Staffordshire campaign

What is it?

The Air Aware Staffordshire communications campaign is part of the efforts to reduce air pollution in 16 Air Quality Management Areas (AQMAs) across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.

While Newcastle- under-Lyme Borough Council and Stoke-on-Trent City Council is working to meet the requirements of a recent Ministerial Directive regarding the area surrounding the A53, the county council will work with the relevant borough or district council to lead on reducing air pollution in the other AQMAs.

Life with cancer in Staffordshire is still life; we’ll help you live it.

The Cancer Support Programme (CaSP) is a partnership between the Beth Johnson Foundation and Macmillan Cancer Support.

We are here to provide links to social, emotional and practical support to adults living with and beyond a cancer diagnosis.

The Beth Johnson Foundation has a long history of providing volunteering opportunities and are looking to recruit and train volunteers to give support to people living with and beyond cancer in Staffordshire.
