Innovating Minds offer specialist psychological support as part of the Evolve programme for adults who are experiencing mental health, emotional or wellbeing difficulties such as (but not limited to), anxiety, stress, depression or low-self esteem, difficulties in relationships, sleeping or organising your time.

We have a team of qualified and experienced professionals who can offer flexible support that is tailored to you. Therapy can be offered one to one or in a group setting.

YMCA Burton Sleepout Reveal raises much needed funds for the future

On Friday 8th November; 227 people spent the night in a cardboard box so that others don’t have to in a bid to raise much needed funds for YMCA Burton.

The mix of adults and children ranging from the ages of 4 to 76 years old gave up their beds for one night over two venues; the home of Burton Albion Football team, Pirelli Stadium, and St Modwens graveyard in the town centre.

It is with great sadness that we inform you that Talent Match Staffordshire will cease operations on 20th December 2019.  Despite our best efforts, we have not been able to secure additional funding to sustain the project.

We would like to thank all our truly extraordinary and exceptional staff, volunteers, partner agencies, charities, Trustees and friends who supported Talent Match Staffordshire’s vision over the last 6 years.

What a week, and whoever you voted for, I expect we are all glad that politics is somewhat off the table for Christmas.

Congratulations to all our local Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent MPS, especially those new to role, and I would give a special well done to Kate Griffiths MP for Burton, who has been a great local supporter of the voluntary sector over the last five years, regularly supporting our Volunteer Star Awards – we hope you’ll continue to be an advocate for the sector.

Greggs Foundation Accepting Applications for Local Community Funding in Spring 2020

Using the money raised from the 5p levy on carrier bag sales in Greggs shops across Great Britain, the Foundation provides grants to small not-for-profit organisations with a turnover of less than £300,000 for projects that make a difference to local areas.

Grants of up to £2,000 are available for projects and providing equipment for people in need at the heart of local communities.

Veolia Environmental Trust

The Veolia Environmental Trust, originally known as the Onyx Environmental Trust, was set up in 1997 under the Landfill Communities Fund (formerly the Landfill Tax Credit Scheme) and awards monies derived from landfill tax to support a wide range of environmentally focused projects throughout England.
