Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust’s Children and Families services (MPFT) have launched a localised page on the ground-breaking Health for Teens website -  www.healthforteens.co.uk

This unique website is the first NHS website that has been created by and for young people, complementing and raising the accessibility of School Nurses and featuring facts, quizzes and articles focussing on providing physical and mental health and wellbeing advice.

Fat Beehive Foundation funding

The Fat Beehive Foundation was established by Fat Beehive Ltd, a digital agency specialising in web design, branding and related digital products for organisations committed to social good.

The maximum value of £2500 funding is intended to help smaller charities build their online presence.

The funding is to be used to build websites or digital products.

ChurchCare - Grants for Stained Glass

Closing date: 9 August 2021

Funding is provided by ChurchCare which is the Church of England's national resource to support parish churches and cathedrals to care for their buildings.

Anglican churches in England can apply for funding for the conservation of stained glass and historical plain glazing.

The maximim of a £10,000 grant are offered in partnership with the Pilgrim Trust and the Radcliffe Trust.

The application deadline is in August each year. The next deadline is 9 August 2021 for a decision in October 2021.

Art Fund Respond and Reimagine Grants

A new Staffordshire volunteer platform launches this week to make finding local volunteering opportunities easier than ever. 

Staffordshire County Council and Support Staffordshire have joined forces to create a digital solution that makes it easy for local volunteers and voluntary groups to connect. 

Using the popular, Do-It.org volunteer website they have created a ‘Staffordshire Only’ area of the website called “Do It - Staffordshire”.

When my brother was little and did something naughty, like most kids, he would fib to my mum to get out of trouble.

But he had a tell: he would cover his forehead with his hand when lying. He could never understand how she always knew!

The clever woman told him that every time he lied a big green spot appeared in the middle of his forehead.
