In Kind Direct – spend more on support, not supplies

In Kind Direct is a charity founded by HRH The Prince of Wales in 1997. It connects businesses and manufacturers with new products to donate, to charitable organisations that need them. These are goods that would otherwise end up in landfill. They have worked with 9,700 charitable organisations (not just registered charities) and members could each save thousands of pounds every year.

Places of Welcome in Uttoxeter.

Places of Welcome is a growing network of community groups, each keen to provide their neighbourhood with a place to go for a cuppa, a chat and some support if needed.   A recent addition to this network is Renew Church in Uttoxeter, which hosts a vibrant and friendly craft group on Tuesday evenings between 7.30 and 9.00pm.

Introduction to BLAST - Burntwood and Lichfield Autism Support Together

BLAST (Burntwood and Lichfield Autism Support Together) aims to give parents the chance to connect, share information and help each other navigate the challenges of raising a child with autism. In the future they hope to deliver opportunities for children with autism such as days out, activities and workshops.

BLAST have a jam packed program coming up in the next couple of months. As a relatively new group, their members have told them that they like BLAST’s ’all under one roof’ approach.

Carers Connect Cafe

The Carers Connects Cafe is a safe place to meet where you can find support and friendship whilst having fun doing a variety of activities to stimulate the mind.

The Cafe sessions will be suitable for everyone - parents and carers who are caring for children with additional needs and adults who are caring for loved ones.

The monthly sessions will  run from 10am-1pm.

10-11am will be aimed at adults and their loved ones

12-1pm will be for parents with children
