St. Modwen Industrial & Logistics donates £15,000 to Realise charity

St. Modwen Industrial & Logistics, the dedicated industrial and logistics division of property developer St. Modwen, has donated £15,000 to Realise charity to support its community services through the COVID-19 pandemic.

As part of we are aspire, which also comprises Staffordshire-based Aspire Housing and PM Training, Realise charity supports people of all ages and background from across its region through a range of services including employment, skills, health and wellbeing, and befriending.

Great News for Good Neighbours in Staffordshire!

Support Staffordshire is delighted to announce it has been awarded a grant of more than £65,000 from the National Lottery to support and develop groups who have responded to the Covid-19 pandemic and assist the creation of new Good Neighbour Schemes across Staffordshire as part of their Covid Legacy Project.

The six Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Clinical Commissioning Groups are holding their first virtual Annual General Meeting in Common via Microsoft Teams and will take place Thursday 24 September 2pm - 4pm.

The meeting will include a presentation of last year's annual reports and accounts (2019/20), reflecting on key achievements in the last year and sharing priorities for the coming year.

Veolia Environmental Trust Grants

The Veolia Environmental Trust was set up in 1997 under the Landfill Communities Fund and awards monies derived from landfill tax to support a wide range of environmentally focused projects throughout England. Sleep in or Sleepout – it’s your shout!

Charity’s fundraiser returns for another year but with a twist.

Due the social distancing measures which are still in place, YMCA Burton are going virtual with their biggest annual fundraiser; Sleepout!

Now in its 12th year, the Sleepout has been traditionally held at Pirelli Stadium and St Modwen’s Church with over 200 attending last year.
