HM Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) Grants Programme 2020-22

One-off grants are available for voluntary sector organisations for the piloting of new services and approaches or the extension of current programmes that support offender rehabilitation.

Grants of between £50,000 and £250,000 are available over two years (between April 2020 and March 2022).

Voluntary organisations can apply for funding. They should be a registered charity, an exempt charity or a social enterprise.

Community Grants to Transform the Trent Valley awarded

The Transforming the Trent Valley (TTTV) Landscape Partnership Scheme is pleased to announce the first successful applications to our Community Grants scheme funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Four organisations providing opportunities within the scheme area have between them been awarded a total of £5,750 in the first round of applications.
Our congratulations go to FISH 2013 who have been awarded £975 to support four angling taster days to promote the sport of fishing on the River Trent at Burton Upon Trent.

British Science Week Grants

The British Science Association is committed to supporting community groups across the UK.

They have launched British Science Week grants, which offer up to £1,000 to community groups to help them run events during British Science Week, taking place between 6-15 March 2020.

The deadline for applications will be 5pm on Monday, 11 November 2019. For additional information, you can read the grant guidelines, which are available on the grant website.

Fun Club Hub are an award winning youth provision for young people aged 8-16, offering a variety of activities from open youth clubs, schools work, community family days & volunteering opportunities.

Moorlands Voluntary and Community Transport receives funding

A newly established voluntary and community transport organisation is celebrating after being awarded four grants within two months. Moorlands Voluntary and Community Transport (MVCT) received £9,500 from the National Lottery Community Fund, along with grants from Biddulph Town Council, Leek Town Lands and Leek Town Council. Moorlands Voluntary and Community Transport began operating in May this year in response to funding cuts by the County Council; it offers voluntary transport to individuals in need and community transport for local voluntary groups.
