Have your Internal Training Programme Quality Endorsed

If you are an organisation delivering bespoke training which falls outside of the regulated qualifications market you may be interested in having your training quality endorsed by an awarding body with a ‘mark of trust’.  External quality endorsement allows you the flexibility to develop training and development programmes that meet the needs of your staff, volunteers or service whilst maintaining high standards of delivery.

FREE DBS for Eligible Member Organisations

For a limited period Support Staffordshire are able to offer a FREE DBS service for eligible member organisations.

This offer is for small organisations with an annual turnover of up to £100k.  

Organisations will qualify for up to 2, completely free of charge, volunteer DBS checks.  We will also waive the admin fee for one paid member of staff (please note the DBS fee will still apply for paid staff)

This ranges from meeting rooms that you can book for short meetings, counselling or Board meetings to office space, either on a flexible rental or long term lease. Staffordshire Community Learning Trust Responsiveness Fund

The Staffordshire Community Learning Trust Responsiveness Fund (CLTRF) offers local grants for the delivery of adult learning programmes which address the identified needs of local communities. The CLTRF is funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency.

The funding is for the delivery of education and training for adults returning to learning (aged 19+ as of 1st August 2018).

Staffordshire Success - Queens Award for Voluntary Service

Sixteen Voluntary groups from Staffordshire have been honoured with the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.

The honour recognises outstanding voluntary contributions in local communities and has an equivalent status for voluntary groups as the MBE has for individuals.
