Emergency Covid Winter Support Grants

Emergency covid winter support is available to help keep residents warm at home.

Staffordshire residents who are struggling to heat their home could get up to £200 worth of emergency support to keep their home warm.

We have a limited budget of just over £400,000 to help residents. This budget is limited, and residents will be helped on a first come, first serve basis.

We want to make sure that the most vulnerable people are getting the support they need, and we need your help to tell residents about the scheme and encourage them to apply.

Good News Story: from Volunteer to Employee

Natalie contacted Support Staffordshire for support to find a volunteering position in a mental health capacity.  She was self-employed and had to close her business due to the government guidelines currently in place which allowed her time to re-assess where she could make an impact to those in need.  In her own words “this ignited a passion in me to pursue this further through volunteering”.

Community Grants from Transforming the Trent Valley

Funding of up to £2000 is available for community groups within the Transforming the Trent Valley scheme area (50% match funding is required).

Projects which promote awareness and engagement with the natural, built and cultural heritage of the area among different groups of people are welcomed. Examples of projects could be using the natural world to help wellbeing, encouraging local action for wildlife, taking home and school learning outside, improving access to the landscape.

The Hospital Saturday Fund is a registered charity which has been operating since it was founded in 1873.

It offers grant funding to registered health charities such as hospitals, hospices and medical organisations for medical projects, care, research or support of medical training taking place in the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland.
