Applications may be made at any time while funding remains available.
Grants are available to individuals or small groups or organisations based in the United Kingdom who have a novel technical idea which they want to try out.
Maximum Value:
£ 5,000
Minimum Value:
£ 250
The fund offers grants ranging from £250 to £5,000. Once the fund's allocation has been used, it will be closed for applications until the funding pot has refilled.
It is not the fund's normal practice to provide part funding to larger projects.

Emergency flood relief funding is available for community sports clubs and not-for-profit organisations to help them restore flood-damaged sport and physical activity facilities in the areas worst affected by the recent flooding caused by Storm Christoph.
There are two levels of funding:
Grants of up to £10,000
Grants for £10,001 or more.
Sport England is providing special funding for local authorities, leisure operators and other not-for-profit organisations needing funding to repair flood damage facilities.

Blondel Cluff CBE has been appointed by Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden as the next Chair of the National Lottery Community Fund.
The role will see her set the long-term strategic direction for the largest funder of community activity in the UK, working with charities to enable people and communities to thrive.

Last week we administered our 200,000th vaccine in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. Our teams across the patch have been working extremely hard, vaccinating and protecting citizens against this virus. It truly is a Herculean effort, particularly by our GPs and our thanks go to everyone involved.

Staffordshire County Council have been awarded an additional £1.8m Government allocation to deliver walking and cycling improvement schemes in: Burton upon Trent, Cannock, Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stafford.
The improvements aim to provide an attractive alternative to the travelling public for shorter journeys, whilst improving the public realm for everybody, not just walkers and cyclists.

Cash for Kids is the recently launched official charity of the radio stations Signal 1 & Greatest Hits Radio. Working in partnership with sister charities across the Midlands, Cash for Kids aims to make a difference to the lives of children affected by poverty, serious illness, neglect, abuse or who have additional needs. Applications for grants from the charity are now open – with grants of up to £3,000 available to families, community projects or small local charities.

Grants of between £1,000 and £10,000 are available in each region.
Grants are available for not-for-profit organisations to support new, original and innovative projects that actively promote a healthy heart and help to prevent, or reduce, the risk of heart disease in local communities in the UK.
