Thu 5 Sep 2019
Citizens Advice celebrates its 80th anniversary this year, starting in 1939, following the outbreak of the Second World War.
Citizens Advice Staffordshire South West (CASSW) was one of the first local bureaux to open, its first office opened in Tipping Street, Stafford in November 1939 and the service across Staffordshire has been available to people in our local communities for 80 years.
Along with the national organisation, CASSW is celebrating this special landmark with a number of events. The first of these events was held on Wednesday 4th September at the Swan in Stafford to thank partners, funders and supporters over the decades and profiling their history.
