Breath of Life has funded research and provided equipment and facilities to lung disease patients in North Staffordshire since 1997.
Objectives of Scheme
The aim of this fund is to provide support research into the causes, prevention, diagnosis, cures, and treatments of respiratory diseases, whilst supporting organisations who provide facilities or services to people with breathing difficulties. This includes the provision of equipment to hospitals, clinics, GP’s surgeries or at home, along with training, education, or care services, and includes all lung diseases.
Grants of up to £2,000 are available.
The following are eligible to apply:
- Constituted community groups.
- Constituted voluntary groups.
- Registered charities.
- Social enterprises.
- Statutory Agencies.
Eligible organisations must be able to provide:
- A governing document.
- A copy of most recent accounts.
- A recent bank statements.
- A safeguarding policy.
- At least three quotes for any capital items.
Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme and Staffordshire Moorlands.
How To Apply
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
The next deadline for applications is 3 November for consideration at the November 2021 panel meeting.
