Ageing Well in the UK Grant
Fri 8 Nov 2019
Four Daughters Charitable Trust are looking for applications for the project 'Ageing well in the UK'.
Following a six months listening and learning process the following areas have been selected as a focus:
1. Supporting older people to stay in or find meaningful work or volunteering;
2. Strengthening communities that are inclusive of older people; and
3. Supporting informal carers to develop their own peer-based approaches.
The Trust is looking to fund projects, organisations or ideas that can make a systemic impact within
these areas. We are open to examples of international best-practice that can be effectively contextualised
for the UK.
We have the capacity to fund up to £250,000 in this grants round. We are open to any size of grant from
small grants through to £200,000+ based on need.
Concept notes should be submitted to Katie Mond in PDF or Word format and sent as an attachment to
firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 13 December 2019 with the subject line: Concept Note – Ageing
Well. Concept notes should just be 1-2 sides of A4 but if you have a pre-exisiting document that you
would rather share that is longer, that is not a problem.
